The Kasbah by the Plaza is also an attraction not to miss as it contains a lovely garden and a small ethnographic museum. On the top of the Medina, you’ll find the famous water source, “Rass El Maa” from where you can enjoy a delightful view of the city of Chefchaouen and the surrounding mountains. On the second day of our Casablanca to Chefchaouen tours, you’ll get to enjoy your morning in Chefchaouen, where you can make your way to the top of the Medina or enjoy shopping in the colorful alleys of the Medina, lined with shops of handicrafts, traditional clothing and some exclusively local products like “Goat cheese”, for which Chefchaouen is famous. After enjoying your morning in Chefchaouen, you’ll take the road to Fes at around noon, after a 2 and half hours ride, you’ll arrive to the Roman site of Volubilis, where you will explore the Roman influence and history in Moroccan lands, as the site is witness to the great outreach and civilization of the Roman Empire from the columns, pillars and the mansions to the elaborate mosaic and carvings which you can discover in the museum. From Volubilis, you will continue your Casablanca north tour to Meknes, the Ismaili capital where you will visit the Mausoleum Moulay Ismail, the Medina and Lhdim square and the biggest gate in Morocco, “Bab Mansour” to which the gates in Fes cannot compare. Upon your arrival in Fes, our driver will drop you off at your hotel/riad in the Medina where you’ll have dinner and enjoy the second night of your Casablanca 4 days to Chefchaouen.

On the last day of our Casablanca north tour, you will enjoy your delicious breakfast before taking a 2 and half hours trip from Fes to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where you will explore some of the monuments and landmarks like the Hassan tower, which was built during the reign of the Almohad caliphate in the 12th century as the minaret of a mosque that wasn’t finished so all you can see is the beautiful tower and the surroundings columns of what was going to be the largest mosque in the world. You’ll also visit the Oudayas Kasbah, which was also built during the Almohad reign, where you can discover its winding streets that will take you to Rabat’s oldest mosque, beautiful gardens, and an exquisite museum. You’ll also have the chance to visit the old Medina which was built in the 17th century, much smaller and less busy than that of Fes but still as elegant. After your tour in Rabat, our driver will take you on a 1 hour trip from Rabat to Casablanca, the last destination of your Casablanca to Chefchaouen tours, where our driver will drop you off at the airport/your hotel or at your preferred location marking the end of what would be a wonderful journey into Morocco’s culture and history.
